Andrew and Kenna connected with me through a mutual friend, Kayla, who helped set up the proposal session. With views of Long Beach in the background, and the ocean to the side of them, Andrew and Kenna walked up to the little flower-covered picnic blanket. When Andrew took a knee, Kenna was completely surprised. She had no idea what was coming! They were ecstatic.

After the proposal, we walked down by the beach to grab a few more pictures. For some pictures, we followed the “blurry” trend (I tried to give it a nostalgic, “vernacular” look, reminiscint of candid, homely family photos), and I made sure to capture a variety of poses and moments for Andrew and Kenna to choose from, despite the short amount of time we spent at the beach.
